TOWN CENTER Gateway Plaza and Kiosks — the latest redevelopment project of the City of Bellflower, another showcase of a step in progress and the re-birth of this community. The City celebrated its grand opening ceremony and ribbon cutting on June 25th with a live entertainment by Pan Badozee Steel-Drum Band and refreshments courtesy of Dippin’ Dots ice cream. Town Center Plaza and the four retail Kiosks will offer the citizens and visitors a unique experience in the revitalized downtown corridor at corner of Belmont Street and Bellflower Boulevard. This project was completed in three months and was funded by grants by the State of California Traffic Congestion Relief Fund, Community Development Block Grant and City of Bellflower Redevelopment Funding. No general fund money was used.
